The park overlooks Padilla Bay and the Swinomish Channel, with magnificient views of Mount Baker, the Cascade Mountains, and often local wildlife. Great location next to the casino on the water side. Flat sites, pull-through and back-in plus cheaper overflow lot. Regular sites have full hookups, sewer, water, electric, and cable TV There is a train track between the RV park and the water that oil trains use periodically to travel to and from the refinery in Anacortes.
We had to leave on Friday. The five days we were at the casino, it was perfect. The sites are long enough and wide enough. There is a picnic table which we didn't use because it was cold , and GREAT WIFI.
Some of the best we have ever experienced in an RV park. Having the casino close was good for a restaurant meal in the sports bar, but mostly we cooked in the RV.
We were able to travel all over the region from here. We were able to find another private park closer to a class I was going to take at the Pacific Northwest Art School to move to, but now we have to deal with no phone service Verizon at this park.
Tip for Other Campers: We were able to visit attractions in this area easily from this casino. It also explains how they retained their native culture while peacefully adapting to the changes forced on them.
A wonderful museum! Well done The CG is attached to the Casino, the toilets are located in the casino 24 hours a day.
Each site has full hookups and CTV, WiFi is available as well. A long sewer line is needed to use the sewer hook up at the site.
Tip for Other Campers: San Juan Islands, Whale boat trip. Due to early departure from Canada due to the wildfires, we had to stay 2 days at the casino.
Everything else booked. Isolated as this is, not likely you won't lose some here. Sites are great, full HU, well maintained. A basic park but with full hookups of which only a few pull-throughs are 50 amp.
Reservations are required. Don't park until you check in. The RV park and check-in is behind casino and hard to see.
No hookups there but dump station nearby. Clean park with good grass for pets. Tip for Other Campers: La Conner is a beautiful little town with nice shops.
The drive up to Mt. Baker was quite long. Plan for a day trip. Be sure to stop and take short path to Nooksack Falls if you go.
Good fuel price at casino. Since we did not need a full-fledged park for our one night stop, we stayed here for the first time since last century.
Check in is at the casino resort. The RV park is north of the casino parking lot. The only thing there are the RV sites. They are in 2 rows of 8 spaces each surrounded on 3 sides by 17 back in sites.
I believe all sites are FHU and satellite friendly. There are no bath or other facilities in the park. There are, of course, bathrooms in the casino.
There is nothing between the RV park and the bay, so the views of the water and Northern Cascade Mountains to the east are clear.
I saw no sign of any recycling. After reading some of the comments in previous years, namely the extremely negative review done in June we were somewhat sceptical about booking at Swinomish.
Access to the casino rv park was well marked and easy to navigate with wide access lanes. When we arrived I asked the front desk staff what the power voltage was and they were told by phone with maintenance that it was 30 amp and volts.
This was confirmed when I plugged in my surge guard power protector and all green lights showed. We were told to go to our site, which was shown on the park rv map and settle in then come back and register, which was reassuring as often you have paid only to find out the site looks better on the web page than in reality.
Water, pressure showed just under 40 psi so there was no concern about incurring damage to our rv's plumbing system.
Power, cable, water, and sewer were all available at the rear of our unit, which is consistent with any other park layout.
We found the park very well maintained, garbage was picked up twice daily and the sprinklers came on before dawn to water the grass.
Our site had two picnic tables that we were able to position where we wanted without any difficulty. The walkway from the rv park to the casino was well light with pedestal post lights and a paved walkway.
Yes, the park is situated next to train tracks and the train using those tracks moved slowly not creating much noise.
We heard the train whistle each day once in the late afternoon and never during the evening or night. We stayed for three nights and would stay again if in the area.
Tip for Other Campers: The park has an overflow area for those folks wanting to stay in the area but dry camp and is spacious and level. CC company said it happens a lot when used at casinos.
Nice park with many improvements underway. Very good Two-Salmon Restaurant in hotel. They do not charge cars to stay in the parking lot!
RVs are parked in a little used vacant part of the parking lot and no services are used except in my case one car parking spot. They do have a substandard RV Park that has very limited services and very low power about 90 volts or less , which can damage your electrical and electronic equipment.
Which it has done to me! My power supply and my fridge were damaged and I had to replace them at my cost, as the manufacture would not honor the warranty.
Camping World in Burlington had my RV for about eight months trying to get the manufacture to pay. While this area is where my roots are, there aren't any immediate relatives left in the area with moochdocking options, so we decided to check out the casino since it was right on our route.
Hit the jackpot since their RV park was full b Hit the jackpot since their RV park was full but they still had space in their overflow which is what this cheapskate wanted.
As others have noted, the staff in the reservations area was very friendly and helpful. We opted to check out one of their food venues which was also a good choice.
We did have a bit of noise in the middle of the night as one of the occasional freight trains had to wait for the swing bridge to close. This was a great overnight spot after arriving by ferry from Port Townsend.
We made reservations for overflow as the RV Park section was full. You park in designated spots between yellow lines. We arrived at PM, checked in only to find no available spots in overflow.
The front desk quickly resolved it by allowing us to park in an The front desk quickly resolved it by allowing us to park in an unmarked spot.
Some traffic noise but not bad. Gravel spot which was pretty level. Front desk personnel were very friendly. We loved our stay from the moment we went to make the reservations!

Erie, and a nice downtown, also near other great small towns, came with all hook ups and was a great stay! Really loved this place! Great wifi connection from the hotel to the rv!
Anacortes is a beautiful little town and not inexpensive. Please pick up after your pets. No animals allowed in any building except service dogs.
All guests must check in at the Lodge front desk. Overnight guests must check in and pay prior to occupying reserved site. Sites are limited to the RV and one vehicle.

They are slow moving trains and do not bother us but we have friends who do not like them. I would recommend you select a site other than the one close to the tracks if it bothers you.
